The EIGHT of us!

Meet the EIGHT of us! We are the Maynard family! We were living life the American way until our hearts became burdened for what burdens our heart of our Lord. When we began the adoption process for a son back in 2008 our eyes were opened to the orphans of the world. We chose to focus on the country of Ethiopia. Once we saw the need for parents for the sweet children of Ethiopia we decided to adopt 2 children. Our precious boys have now been home 4 years! Once we stepped foot in Ethiopia our lives were forever changed...our heart was now burdened for the needy of Ethiopia as well. We knew we would return to help this wonderful country at some point we just never knew when or how. A few months ago Papaw (Paul's daddy) Billy Joe who had just retired from many, many years of preaching had an idea. While he was traveling to the surrounding states preaching sermons and revivals the love offering he collected would go to provide clean water for the people of Ethiopia! So it began the eight of us on a mission to raise money for 8 clorination systems for our boys birthplace! All monies raised will go directly to the systems, none of the money raised will be for travel expenses etc.Each system is $2,000 so we are looking at raising $16,000!!!
